Born and raised in Colorado, Thea is an up-and-coming artist who explores the human and natural landscapes through a unique blend of traditional and contemporary oil painting and drawings.

Thea received her undergraduate degree at Earlham College in Indiana and from there worked on policy research in the District of Columbia. She later returned to Colorado, lured back by the mountains and sunshine. 

Her work celebrates both the quiet and profound elements she encounters, whether during breathtaking backpacking adventures or daily urban routines. By way of expressive colors and texture, Thea's artwork plays with a sense of spaciousness, creating moments of stillness and contemplation that seek to connect the viewer to their own reflective journey.
